Hydrasun’s Integrity Management processes identify opportunities to reduce leak paths in flexible hose and small bore tubing assemblies, resulting in reduced HSE incidents, improved equipment performance and up time, reduced hydrocarbon leak incidents and reduced reputational risk. Our OPITO, ECITB Certified and Industry experienced inspection and technician personnel are competent in identification, solution supply and implementation.
Hydrasun has introduced a Close Coupled Installation system that provides an alternative approach to traditional instrumentation engineering and challenges traditional field hook-up assemblies with progressive field-proven technologies. Our approach to reducing leak paths through instrumentation engineering is to identify the optimum design solutions for the customer and offer a suite of products that simplify the instrumentation hook-up assembly.
Our Flexible Hose Assembly (FHA) Integrity Management model manages each stage of the hose management process from design and specification through to supply, installation and planned risk-based integrity programmes. FHAs are a key component to every fluid system and as such, if unmanaged, is one of the largest contributors to unplanned hydrocarbon release in the oil & gas industry. We have worked closely with our customers and leading industry bodies to be at the forefront in the development and identification of unnecessary leak paths, providing the most cost effective solution and implementing this solution on behalf of our clients.
Small Bore Tubing (SBT) and Instrumentation tube runs are often used for high pressure, high temperature, hydrocarbon, gas and aggressive fluid transfer applications. They are also frequently utilised in systems which represent high risk to site operations. As such, it’s critical that all potential leak paths and opportunities to create leak paths are reported and solutions proposed and implemented. Hydrasun ECITB Certified inspectors are trained and experienced in reporting and proposing leak path solutions. We also have a team of certified personnel competent in assembly, flush, test and installation of replacement tubing and Original Equipment Manufacturer procedures to rectify existing leaks.
